Plot Against America

I loved his exploration of how fear could even persuade Jews to support an anti-semitic administration. It reminds me of all that American are willing to support under a regime of fear. This book did not remind of Roth, it lacked his humor and sexual color. I also thought the ending was a copout. Lindburg disappears in a plane and the whole political structure unravels. Unlikely. I did like young Roth as a character. I thought he was believable.
